NIIT Ghana pays visit to NIIT India Head Office

The delegation from Ghana was led by Mr Yaw Amoateng (Director, NIIT Ghana) and Vinay Gokaldas (Chief Transformation Officer, Vishwamitra). Over two days, the NIIT Head of Emerging Markets Mr Sanjay Tickoo, and Product & Delivery head Mr Pankaj Sharma highlighted the challenges in the industry and ways that other emerging markets were coping with competition, and opening new lines of business.

NIIT Ghana’s discussions revolved around Lateral Entry — the potential of having NIIT students continue onward after NIIT to complete a degree at a university abroad. An upcoming sales workshop will be administered to the front office staff at NIIT Centers. Finally partnership discussions such as tie-ups with university faculty & IT departments are an emerging business model for NIIT Global.

Exploring Online Education

The duo also used the opportunity in Delhi to meet with WizIQ, a cloud based education delivery platform that could hold the key to NIIT Ghana offering an online program.

Co-Working Spaces

Finally, they met with Sanil Sachar and Ishan Khosla who are the directors behind Huddle — a co-working space in Delhi that has grown rapidly over the last two years and welcomed a plethora of startups into its ecosystem.
